Annie Wersching Bio

Annie Wersching (born March 28 1977) is an American actress known for her role as Renee Walker in the American television series 24 as well as her voice and motion capture for the character Tess in the video game The Last of Us. Wersching was born and was raised in St. Louis, Missouri. She went to the high school of Crossroads College Preparatory School in the Central West End of St. Louis, graduating in 1995. In her early years, she competed in Irish dance and was part of the St. Louis Celtic Stepdancers. Millikin University gave her a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree, which she received in 1999. Wersching's acting career began with her appearance in Star Trek: Enterprise. Later, Wersching was invited to perform on guest shows like Charmed and Killer Instinct. From March 2007 until November 2007 she played the recurring role as Amelia Joffe on ABC Daytime's soap opera General Hospital. Other credits in the theater include the Victory Gardens, Marriott Lincolnshire and the Utah Shakespearean Festival. Wersching also played guest roles on shows such as CSI, NCIS and Rizzoli and Islands Hawaii Five-0 and Body of Proof. 2014 saw her as a regular series character on the Amazon Prime crime drama Bosch. Wersching was the catcher of the National League in the 2009 Taco Bell All-Star Legends and Celebrity Softball Game.In December 2012, it was announced that, in the PlayStation 3 exclusive The Last of Us Wersching played the voice and mo-cap actor of the character Tess. Her character was teased via Geoff Keighley's account on Twitter before she was seen in the trailer which was shown on Spike Video Game Awards on December 7, 2012.In September 2021, it was revealed that Wersching would be playing the role of the Borg Queen in the second season of Star Trek: Picard.
